SAS Online Tutorial

I. Introduction

The SAS system is an integrated applications system. The system's analysis tools range from simple descriptive statistics to advanced statistical design. The data presentation capabilities range from simple lists and tables to multi-dimensional plots and high-resolution graphics. It also has procedures for data entry, high-resolution graphics, matrix manipulations, a macro language, and many other features. The optional menu system makes it easy for the novice to get started with simple analyses, but does not provide access to the full power of the system. For much data manipulation, as well as for the more advanced features, you will need to learn the SAS language.
