Al Roberts, director of the UMass School of Public Policy, received the inaugural Award for the Best Comparative Pedagogy Project from the Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis and the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs and Administration. The award recognizes curricular innovation in a public policy course. Roberts was honored for his Strategies in Governing class. He received the award at the recent NASPAA annual conference in Atlanta.
