The Not Ready for Bedtime Players is an award-winning sex education theater troupe based at University Healthh Services' Health Education department.

The Players formed in 1988 as part of "The AIDS Follies," a UMass theater project about the AIDS crisis. Today, the group's lively, entertaining skits address health issues impacting the university community, including safer sex, sexuality, STIs, and HIV/AIDS. The group performs every Wednesday throughout the year in residence halls, classrooms and occasionally travels to other schools.

This is my second year participating. Although NRBP is not officially associated with the public health major, it by all means advocates for public health values (education, prevention, community health) and in that way, I think more connections can and should be made :)
