Club Minutes 9-28-2011
Here is what we discussed in the meeting last night:
We went over some upcoming events...
Oct 12- Study Abroad night
Oct 19- Resume workshop with Mary Ellen Liseno
Oct 21- Career Fair -we are tabling (10-1) but you should also
consider attending!!
Oct 26- Making goodie bags & tabling Oct 27, 28, 31
Nov 9- CPR class
TBA- Kickboxing class
The media committee came up with an idea for a 2 minute video clip/commercial that will be aired on the UMass Channel. It will be filmed
on an upcoming Thursday sometime between 12-2. If you are interested
in participating let me know asap..we have to set a date soon!! Also,
we will be needing 2 representatives to be in the video!
We also created posters for the Career Fair, "What is Public Health",
Resume Night with Mary Ellen Liseno and the Study Abroad night and
they look great!
We will not be meeting next week but we will be hosting a STUDY ABROAD
night on October 12th at 7:15 PM in Arnold 136! We will have a
representative from IPO talk about options and give information about
the various programs & have students from the Public Health major come
in to talk about their experiences abroad!
Next meeting, we will send around a sign up sheet for tabling at the
Campus Center for Halloween!
One last thing, come prepared with a rough draft for the resume
workshop with Mary Ellen Liseno on Oct 19th at 7:15 PM in Arnold 136!
It will be EXTREMELY helpful and it is scheduled just in time for the
School of Public Health and Health Sciences Career Fair which is on
the Oct 21st in the Student Union Ballroom from 10-1!
