Digna Pena MejiaDigna Pena Mejia, an undergraduate in the Public Health Sciences program, has been awarded a 2012 Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship. She joins 14 other UMass Amherst students who will receive the scholarship award in 2012, which places the university third nationally. Read more...

 


John ParkJohn Park, an undergraduate in the Public Health Sciences program, has been awarded a 2011 Gallagher Koster Health Careers Scholarship in the amount of $5,000. Mr. Park was one of five recipients chosen for this national scholarship, which is awarded annually by Gallagher Koster.

Ten students from the School of Public Health and Health Sciences have been named as recipients of UMass Alumni Association 2010 Scholarships and Awards


UMass Amherst Alumni Association hosted, as part of our Campus to Career programs, a young alumni panel called Alumni 2.0: Life After UMass Amherst.  This program was held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 5:30pm in Memorial Hall.


One Voice: Reproductive Health and Population Summit
Washington D.C. March 26-29, 2010

Colleen Taylor's essay submission won an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, DC to attend the fourth annual One Voice: Reproductive Health and Population Summit on march 26-29, 2010. Accommodations and meals will also be covered.
