Research

The Department of Public Health conducts transdisciplinary research that addresses many pressing public health problems. Faculty expertise extends to many complex issues and challenges that affect public health and wellbeing, including diabetes and other chronic disease management and prevention; women’s health; global health; aging and healthy living; and environmental health concerns. The Department promotes numerous community-based health programs and supports partnerships that promote health and the quality of life in diverse populations.
