Academic Advising

The Department of Public Health provides a variety of advising and academic resources for its students. Both our staff advisors and peer advisors are here to help address your academic questions and concerns so that you can make the most of your UMass Amherst education.

Are You Planning to Apply to the Public Health Major?

All UMass prospective public health majors should either meet with a peer advisor during drop-in hours or attend an information session for prospective students before applying to the major.

Peer Advising Drop-In Center

Peer advisors can answer questions about the public health field, applying to the major, university and program requirements, completing advising forms, and planning balanced academic schedules.
