Jongil Lim, Ph.D. (ABD)
Jongil Lim received his undergraduate and M.S. degrees from the Seoul National University in South Korea. He will complete his Ph.D. in Kinesiology in 2012 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
He is currently working with Dr. Richard Van Emmerik in the Motor Control lab. He is involved in the research project “Effects of Armor and Load on Action-Perception Coupling” granted from the Navy Health Research Center. The goal of the project is to examine the influence of load on soldiers' ability to perceive and act in combat. His research interests focus on how imposed constraints affect our perceptual-motor coordination in goal-directed behavior.
