Dr. Luce

Dr. Bryan Luce received the 2001 School of Public Health and Health Sciences Distinguished Alumnus Award at the Schools' Annual Alumni Dinner held at the UMass Campus Center in April 2001. Dean Stephen H. Gehlbach presented Luce with the award, which honors alumni who have attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and who have translated their UMass experience into distinguished service. Luce was also the featured keynote speaker at the alumni dinner.

Bryan R. Luce, Ph.D., M.B.A., is Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of MEDTAP® International, Inc. and is an international opinion leader in outcomes research. From 1984 to 1995, Dr. Luce was a Director of Battelle's Centers for Public Health Research and Evaluation. Previously, Dr. Luce served as Director of the Office of Research and Demonstrations, Health Care Financing Administration, and as a Senior Analyst in the former Congressional Office of Technology Assessment.
