Online Master of Public Health Degree Programs

Degree Options

Welcome to the University of Massachusetts Amherst Online Master of Public Health degree programs. In conjunction with the UMass Continuing & Professional Education, we offer three exceptional M.P.H. degree options:

• The M.P.H. in Public Health Practice (MPH-PHP) general concentration
• The M.P.H. in Nutrition (MPH-Nutrition) concentration
• The blended online and on-campus satellite M.P.H. program in Worcester, Massachusetts (MPH-Worcester)

Flexibility

We have designed each of our programs to fit seamlessly into the busy lives of today’s working professionals by offering unlimited flexibility as you pursue your MPH degree:

• 100% online (MPH-PHP and MPH-Nutrition)
• Blended program (MPH-Worcester)
• Part-time options. Complete your program in 2 ½ to 4 years!
• Take 1-3 courses per semester.
• Summer enrollment is not required.
• Take time off if needed.

Accreditation

Our programs offer a distinct advantage over most private, online MPH programs. All of our programs are fully accredited by the following institutions:

• New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)
• Council on Education in Public Health (CEPH)

All programs are administered by the University of Massachusetts Amherst’s School of Public Health and Health Sciences, a member of the Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPH). Our accreditation guarantees that upon graduation you are eligible to apply for Federal and State employment, U.S. Government fellowships, and to become certified in public health.
