Community Engaged Nutrition Research Group

The Community Engaged Nutrition Research Group (CENRG) conducts applied research, using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to address nutritional health at the population level, including  underserved communities with health disparities and  those at high risk for poor health outcomes. Research conducted by CENRG faculty spans the continuum from community-based to community engaged participatory research, with focused areas in food security, maternal and child health, health literacy and nutrition of older adults.
