Massachusetts Nutrient Data Bank (MNDB)
The Massachusetts Nutrient Data Bank (MNDB) is a computer-assisted system used to evaluate dietary intake information for research, educational programs, individual or group evaluations, and product development. These services and output have been tailored to help small businesses with nutritional labeling information to meet the requirements of the federal nutrition labeling regulations. The USDA National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference is the principal source of nutrient information used by the MNDB but is supplemented with manufacturer’s data when appropriate.
The MNDB is available on a fee-for-service basis. Cost estimates are based on the time necessary to complete the task. Services will be tailored to meet the needs of the individual client. Hourly rates begin at $35.00.
Initial contact may be made by mail, phone or e-mail.
