The UMASS Learning Commons is located on the first floor of the W.E.B. Du Bois Library. This new space brings together library, technological and other campus services in an environment that fosters informal collaborative and social interaction.

Writing Center

The Writing Center serves as a resource for writing and the teaching of writing for all members of the University. At the core of the Center's mission is to work one-on-one with writers who seek feedback on their work. All writers, whether first-year college students or professionals, benefit from sharing their work with others. Writers of all experience and from all disciplines are invited to use the Center.

For questions on recommended courses to take, career or volunteer opportunities, internships, and other advice, contact the Department of Nutrition Undergraduate Advisor. As a nutrition major, you will be assigned a faculty advisor who will meet with you at least once a semester to plan courses, discuss your progress, and answer your questions. Make an appointment to meet us anytime.
