How to Apply

The HANDS scholarship application should include:

1. A fully completed application.
2. A minimum of one letter of recommendation from a high school or college teacher who can speak to your work as a student.
3. One letter of recommendation from an employer, supervisor in a volunteer position or community member.
4. An essay that speaks to your interest in human nutrition:
   (Should not be any longer than two typed pages)
   Why are you interested in the field of Nutrition?
   How do you feel that you may contribute to the field?
   Why do you feel that you are a good candidate for this scholarship?

Application Deadline: Ongoing for Spring, 2008
