Admissions Policy and Requirements
The general admission requirements of the Graduate School are described in the Graduate School Bulletin. These requirements include
- a completed official Graduate School Application Form. If you use the online application form, in the drop-down menu under Graduate Educational Objective (#14 ), be sure to choose "Public Health [Nutrition - Online] (M.P.H.)" so we know you are interested in the online program.
- a Grade Point Average (GPA) > 2.75
- GRE General Test
- two letters of recommendation
- official transcripts from all schools attended
Admission is based on having
- an advanced degree (M.S., M.D., Ph.D, etc.) in a health-related area or status as a Registered Dietitian
OR
- 3-5 years of relevant post-bachelor's experience and
- two courses in nutrition.
Foreign students must take the TOEFL English language proficiency test. Applications for the fall semester are due by February 1st and the spring admission deadline is October 1st.
