Associate Professor, Lisa Chasan-Taber of Epidemiology has been awarded a 5 year, 2.28 million dollar grant funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive Kidney Diseases (NIDDK).
Andrea S. Foulkes (Assistant Professor, Biostatistics and Epidemiology) has been awarded a five-year, $1.1 million grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases to develop new statistical methods to be used in AIDS research and prevention.
A team of professors in the Department of Communication Disorders at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst received a $733,000 dollar grant from the United States Department of Education to better educate and train the next four generations of graduate students in Speech-Language Pathology to work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
