Wood comments in NPR story

Richard Wood, Associate Professor of Nutrition, comments in an NPR story on how Dead Sea salt is marketed as a gourmet food product. The salt does contain important minerals, but they are in such small concentrations that they don’t affect a person’s health. The one good thing about the product, he says, is that the actual amount of sodium it contains is low, and that is good for health.
