Vandenberg speaks with Gazette about BPA in canned foods

Laura Vandenberg, Assistant Professor of Environmental Health Sciences, recently spoke with the Daily Hampshire Gazette about a report on the prevalence of bisphenol A (BPA) in canned foods.

“Exposure in the general population is widespread,” Vandenberg said. “At least 90 percent of us have detectable BPA in our bodily fluids and 99 percent have exposure at some point every day.”
