Pallavi Pant, a postdoctoral researcher in Environmental Health Sciences, recently spoke with The Times of India about research she co-authored comparing pollution exposures for various modes of transportation in Delhi, India. Pant, who works with Associate Professor Richard Peltier in his lab, was the lead author on a journal article that found travelers in rickshaws were exposed to the most pollutants. 

"Exposure to particles is lower in cars than on two-wheelers and autorickshaws, but driving a car with open windows could lead to similar levels (of exposure) as in an auto," she explained.
