Reich co-authors letter to the editor in Gazette regarding vaccinations

February 11, 2015

Assistant Professor of Biostatistics Nicholas Reich recently co-authored a letter to the editor that was published in the Daily Hampshire Gazette. Reich and co-author Krzysztof Sakrejda, a doctoral candidate in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology, wrote in response to an article about a perceived low risk of a measles outbreak in western Massachusetts. "We don’t live in a bubble. With more measles cases reported in the U.S. in 2014 than in the previous five years combined, the risk of a measles case arriving in western Massachusetts is rising," they write.
