The School of Public Health and Health Sciences is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the first-ever Western Massachusetts Health Equity Summit on Thursday, October 2, 2014. The Summit will bring together practitioners and community leaders from across our four counties. Participants will work, learn, and take important steps toward greater health equity in Western MA. Come individually or as part of a team from your community; be a bridge-builder and invite those who may not yet see their link to health equity.

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION is open until August 15th.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Amanda Navarro, Associate Director, PolicyLink. A leading health disparities analyst and former researcher at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Ms. Navarro works with funders and other institutions to improve access to healthy eating and active living.
Free and low-cost group transportation options will be available throughout the region.
