Kinesiology Graduate Students Win Awards at SPHHS Research Day
Three Kinesiology graduate students received awards in the 16th Annual SPHHS Research Day poster competition. In the Research category, Anisha Patel received a 1st place award for her poster, titled "The effects of estrogen and exercise on cardiac telomere related factors in ovariectomized mice".

This year's Delta Omega Honor Society abstract winner was Jeffer Sasaki's poster, "An Algorithm to Distinguish Mail Time From Accelerometer Wear Time in the Women’s Health Study" and 1st place runner-up was Julianna Averil, whose poster was titled "Effect of a Three Week Tai Chi Intervention on Psychosocial Wellbeing in People with Multiple Sclerosis".
