Graham discusses suicide prevention as part of National Prevention Week

Assistant Professor of Community Health Education Louis Graham spoke to the American Public Health Association’s (APHA) Public Health Newswire on the topic of suicide prevention as part of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) National Prevention Week. Held this year from May 18-24th, National Prevention Week seeks to increase public awareness of, and action around, substance abuse and mental health issues.

Graham discussed the “link between protecting ‘the most marginalized people’ and suicide prevention,” which was one of the daily themes featured as part of National Prevention Week. Read the full article online here.
