    Are you interested in working or interning as a statistician in the Boston area?   Do you want to learn more about how the big data and analytics revolution is central to improving the US healthcare system?  Then, this talk is for you.  

    Come and join Dr. Iyue Sung, Director of Core Analytics, at Athenahealth, Watertown MA.  He manages a team of Data Analysts/Statisticians at Athenahealth, a company that provides medical billing services and electronic medical records for healthcare providers.   

    Come and find out how analysts, data scientists and statisticians are doing their part. How? By mining athenahealth's massive, cloud-based database to improve physician productivity, uncover healthcare trends and influence decision making at the point of care. This company is seeking the best and brightest minds across quantitative disciplines to intern and/or to apply for its analytics and data science positions (see attached flyer).  

    Dr. Sung holds a PHD in Statistics from Ohio State University and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from Boston University.
