Kinesiology alumnus Efosa Guobadia '07 recently spoke about his experiences as a student at UMass Amherst in a video produced by the UMass Profile Series. "I would tell somebody that doesn't know about UMass that it's a special place. There's something in the air and in the water. It's a fun place, fun environment, the town is beautiful, the campus is beautiful, and just everybody that's a part of this university from students to leaders, professors," he says. "And, again, it's about community, and UMass is a wonderful community."
Guobadia is the Co-Founder, President, and CEO of Move Together, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to quality rehab medicine around the corner and around the world. He is also the co-founder and co-director of the international initiative Physical Therapy (PT) Day of Service, and formerly developed and led the international volunteer program ATI MissionWorks for ATI Physical Therapy. In September, he received the inaugural SPHHS Distinguished Young Alumni Award during the School's annual Fall Celebration.
