Join Dean Marjorie Aelion and members of the dean’s advisory board for a special Boston Alumni Night on Monday, June 25, 2018, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at The University of Massachusetts Club. Enjoy an evening socializing with fellow alumni, students, and leaders and innovators in public health and allied health sciences, all while taking in the UMass Club’s exceptional city skyline views.

Free to current students & Class of 2018 alumni, $10 all others

100% of the proceeds go to student scholarships.

The UMass Club is easily accessible by all MBTA Subway lines. The following stops are within a 5 minute walk of the venue: Park Street or Government Center on the Green Line, Park Street on the Red Line, State Street on the Orange Line, and State Street or Government Center on the Blue Line. It is also a short walk from North Station servicing the Commuter Rail. Parking is also available at the UMass Club for a discounted rate of $14 after 4:00 p.m.

Members of the UMass Amherst Department of Kinesiology will be in Minneapolis for the 65th Annual Meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). We'll be hosting our annual alumni reception in the Hollow Room of The Local from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.

Description: 

The School of Public Health and Health Sciences will host its 8th Annual Fall Celebration on Saturday, September 23rd, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Fine Arts Center. The event brings alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends from all departments together to celebrate the SPHHS community. The informal brunch hour provides ample opportunity for alumni and friends to reconnect, to visit with current faculty, staff, and students, and to learn more about all the major happenings within the SPHHS and its departments. It also features a series of talk from special student speakers.

The School will also honor the accomplishments of its alumni by giving the SPHHS Award for Significant Contributions to the fields of public health and health sciences, and, for the first time in 2017, the Distinguished Young Alumni Award.
