Graduate Assistantships

Graduate Assistantships are available as either research assistants or teaching assistants on campus and there are also off campus internships (externships).

Assistantships on campus are advertised by each department and division and Environmental Health Sciences will advertise any openings for teaching assitant and research assistant in the beginning of each semester on this webpage. Graduate students may also check this site in the graduate assistantship office where openings are advertised:

Graduate students in Public Health and Environmental Health Sciences have also found teaching assistant positions and research assistant positions in other departments such as nursing and biology so students who are looking for openings should also contact various departments within the University of Massachusetts.

OPENINGS FOR RA/TA POSITIONS IN ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SCIENCES FOR FALL 2008:

TA for PUBHLTH 565, Environmental Health Practices Duties: Conduct office hours and review sessions, grade exams, assist
professor on additional tasks.  Applicant should have previously completed the course.
Hours: 10 hours/week
