The Community Health Education program provides its students with a variety of resources and opportunities to conduct and present their research at national and international conferences and to submit findings for publications in peer-reviewed scholarly journals. Our faculty members provide guidance and mentorship in innovative research in diverse settings including laboratory and community-based efforts.
SPHHS Research Day
The School holds this event each year to provide an opportunity for the university, media and surrounding communities, as well as faculty, staff and peers within the School of Public Health and Health Sciences, to learn more about the research, instruction and outreach efforts being conducted by our students. On this day, students from all departments within the SPHHS present posters of their work in a faculty-juried poster session. For more information, visit the School’s Student Research page.
Research posters can be printed at the UMass Amherst Learning Commons. Follow the link for more information. A poster template for SPHHS poster presentations can be found in the downloads section of the page.
