Rosa Rodriguez-Monguio is an Assistant Professor of Public Health. Her previous work experience includes positions as Clinical Assistant Professor at the School of Public Health and as Associate Researcher at the Centre for Health Outcomes, Policy, and Evaluation Studies, The Ohio State University (2004-June 2007). She also worked as a health economist for the World Bank and the World Health Organization (2001-2003). She holds a Ph.D. in Economics by the University of Barcelona (2001). Rodriguez-Monguio has served as principal or co-principal investigator on projects for several governments and organizations including the European Commission, the World Bank, the World Health Organization, and Ohio Medicaid. She has also conducted research for governments of several countries including Argentina, The Bahamas, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Indonesia, Paraguay, and Spain.

Her research interests focus on the areas of international health care systems, health insurance and access, pharmaceutical economics and policy, Medicaid drug benefits, medical devices, economics of HIV/AIDS, economics of obesity, and economic evaluation of health care services.
