Maria Bulzacchelli is an Assistant Professor of Public Health. Her research interests center on the study of primary prevention policies, especially in the area of injury prevention. Her most recent research has focused on the evaluation of the effectiveness of injury prevention policies and programs, specifically pertaining to occupational safety, firearms, and childhood injuries. Dr. Bulzacchelli holds an A.B. from Bowdoin College and a Ph.D. in Health and Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
