The Arnold House computers are available on a first come, first serve basis for use by research assistants, graduate students and students taking graduate level courses in the school. Research Assistants working on their assigned research projects have priority to the computers in Arnold 419.

Arnold 417 and 419 have free desk space with internet connections for use with laptops.

Computer lab facilities are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you need building access in order to use the computers evenings and weekends, contact Gina Vanasse in Arnold House room 102 to request a key to Arnold House. Room access is by combination door locks.

Username /password
SPHHS computers require a username/password. All students registered in graduate level courses in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Community Health Studies, Environmental Health, or Communications Disorders are assigned personal computer accounts at the beginning of each semester. Other graduate students in SPHHS can get computer accounts for University related use by request to Eva Goldwater, room 418 Arnold House.

The assigned SPHHS username is the same as OIT's NetID. The password must be changed at the first login.

The computers are networked, and share common software and printers. They are connected to the university fiber optic network to provide fast internet access.

Lab Protocol
Students are expected to be familiar with and to comply with the lab protocol posted in each lab.
