Amy O’Regan received her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Sciences from UMass Amherst in 2012. She serves in Arkansas as a member of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Public Health Associate Program. Bridget Aumais, ’15, recently completed her junior year as a Public Health major and Public Health Peer Advisor.

Chris McCarthy, ’95 MPH, is the Director of the Innovation Learning Network and an Innovation Specialist at Kaiser Permanente. On October 20, 2011, he appeared at American International College in Springfield, MA to deliver a talk titled “Design and Healthcare: Unlikely (But Lovely) Bedfellows.”

Dr. David Blake is a colonel in the U.S. Air Force and a 2007 graduate of the MPH in Public Health Practice program. He is currently the Surgical Operations Commander at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.

Elizabeth Ward received her B.S. in Nutrition from UMass Amherst in 1984 and her M.S. in Mass Communication from Boston University. A registered dietitian and nutrition consultant, Ms. Ward is also a freelance writer and the author of nine books on healthy eating, including most recently MyPlate for Moms, How to Feed Yourself & Your Family Better, published by Loughlin Press. She contributes regularly to Men's Fitness, WebMD, and USA Today, and blogs at Expect the Best. She can be followed on Facebook at MyPlate for Moms and on Twitter at @MyPlate4Moms. Ms. Ward has been featured in nearly 1,000 print and broadcast interviews.

Kristin (Lefebvre) Chenevert received her M.S. in Nutrition from UMass Amherst in 2005. She works for Plus One Health Management, Inc., as an on-site Wellness Specialist for Ocean Spray Cranberries’ corporate office in Lakeville, MA, where she designed and runs Ocean Spray’s Fit for Life Wellness Program.

Maria L. Urso, '06 Ph.D., is a Research Scientist at the United States Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine (USARIEM).

Mary Ann Petti, ’12, earned her MPH degree from the School of Public Health and Health Sciences. She currently works as a User Experience Specialist at CommunicateHealth, a Northampton-based health education and communication firm specializing in improving health literacy through user-centered design, policy, research, and content development. Alexandria McGowan, ’14, recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and worked as a Public Health Peer Advisor during her senior year.

Peter Gorton received his bachelor's degree with a major in public health from UMass Amherst, and a Master's in Public Health from Yale University. Gorton is the founder and President of Panamerican Environmental, Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in a broad range of environmental services including environmental assessment, planning, monitoring, regulatory compliance and permitting, and storm water and erosion control services and products.

Soloe Dennis received his B.S. in Environmental Science from UMass Amherst in 2005 and his M.S. in Public Health with a concentration in Environmental Health Sciences from the UMass Amherst School of Public Health and Health Sciences in 2007. He currently serves as the Regional Director of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s Western Regional Health Office.

Suzanne Ducharme is a 1992 undergraduate alumna of the Communication Disorders program at UMass Amherst. She also holds an MS degree from Emerson College, CCC-SLP certification, and is the owner of South Shore Speech Pathology Partners.
