Degrees Offered
The School offers a wide array of degree programs:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in the Departments of Communication Disorders, Kinesiology, Nutrition, and Public Health Sciences.
- Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with concentrations in Biostatistics, Community Health Education, Environmental Health Sciences, Epidemiology, Health Policy and Management, and Nutrition. The SPHHS also offers fully online MPH degree programs in Public Health Practice and Nutrition.
- Master of Arts (MA) degree in Communication Disorders with a concentration in speech-language pathology.
- Master of Science (MS) degrees in Kinesiology, Nutrition, and the Public Health concentrations (Biostatistics, Community Health Education, Environmental Health Sciences, Epidemiology, and Health Policy and Management).
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Audiology, Kinesiology, and the Public Health concentrations (Biostatistics, Community Health Education, Environmental Health Sciences, Epidemiology, Health Policy and Management) including Nutrition.
- Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree.
In addition, the School offers an accelerated 4+1 B.S./M.P.H. degree program with concentrations in Community Health Education or Health Policy and Management, and collaborates with the Center for Public Policy and Administration for a dual degree Master of Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) and Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Health Policy and Management. The MPH is also offered as an off-campus program at UMass Worcester.
Students also have the opportunity for interdisciplinary study to meet unique health needs throughout the Five-College area in the Five-College Culture, Health, and Science Program.
