Bio

I am interested in the causes and consequences of public opinion and public action on various forms of social inequality. Specifically, I would like to better understand the interaction and tension between social narratives and empirical evidence in influencing both public and private opinions and the implications those influences have for social policy. In general, I am interested in the relationships between communities, the academy and policymakers.
