Bio
Patricia is a fifth year Ph.D. student. Her interests are: Race and Ethnicity, Latino/a Studies, Higher Education Attainment, and Qualitative Methods. Patricia completed her comprehensive exams in the areas of race, immigration and education. Currently, she is working on her dissertation which examines how academic support programs transmit social capital to underrepresented high achieving students. Patricia is a member of the American Sociological Association and ASHE (Association for the Study of Higher Education).
