Kay McCurley

Bio

Kay is a third year PhD student. Her broad research interests include body & embodiment, the Internet, sex/gender/sexualities, feminist studies, and the family. More specific research interests are the pro-anorexic movement, “extreme” forms of body modification, tattoo cultures, circus performers, the politics of beauty, and polyamory (among others). Kay has been a member of the American Sociological Association since 2008.
