Mental Health, Medical and Social Psychology, Family Burden, Continuity of Care and the Recognition of Depression

Richard Tessler has been on the faculty at UMass since 1973, and is currently serving as a research fellow for the Center for Research on Families (CRF) at UMass. He has co-authored three books and over 50 journal articles in the areas of medical and mental health, social psychology and childhood. He is a past recipient of a Career Development Award and research grant support from the NIMH and private foundations.
