Aysu Kes Erkul Visiting Scholar

Education and Interests

Aysu Kes Erkul is a visiting scholar in Department of Sociology at University of Massachusetts Amherst for year 2009.  She is a Ph.D. candidate at Hacettepe University, Turkey. Her interests are revitalization of historic urban quarters, urban lifestyle and suburbanization. Currently, Aysu is studying on forms of capital and their impact on housing choices.  She is a member of European Sociological Association.
