Feasibility of Establishing a Travel Services

Office Sponsor: Paul Page, Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance

Many organizations that incur large travel expenditures are able to achieve savings and efficiencies in all aspects of travel such as transportation, fares, accommodations, vehicle rentals, fleet management, etc. Many achieve such savings by coordinating travel arrangements through an internal department and/or designated travel agent(s). This project will review and assess the feasibility of establishing a campus Travel Services Office to assist departments and travelers in achieving maximum benefit from travel funds and to better meet the needs of travelers.
