Review of Small-Scale Renovation and Construction Projects

Sponsor: Paul Page, Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance

This review project will analyze the small-scale renovation and construction process on the Amherst Campus. The objective will be to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the above aspects of projects paid for by campus departments and costing less than $200,000. The project team will identify and review aspects of small-scale renovation and construction projects including: submitting work orders; defining project scope; design; code review and permitting; estimating; scheduling; timely completion; project cost; quality assurance and billing.
