Review of Legislative Mandates

As a public institution of higher education, the University is required to follow a number of legislative mandates. While many of these mandates exist to ensure that the University complies with complex external political, legal or other requirements, a number of them severely constrain activities and often create excessive costs for all entities involved. Since these issues have broad university-wide implications, there needs to be further discussion with the President's Office on how best to address them.
