If people are working in related areas (e.g. literature, religious life, etc.), maybe we can do a group of panels. The proposal deadline is 15 February. He was ordained at Yeshiva University and received his doctorate at the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley. Rabbi Giller has written extensively on Judaism and his field of expertise, Jewish Mysticism (or Kabbalah). He has written two books, The Enlightened Will Shine: Symbolism and Theurgy in the Later Strata of the Zohar (State University of New York Press, 1993), and Reading the Zohar (Oxford University Press 2000). Rabbi Giller has taught in many contexts: yeshivot, meditation centers, high schools, universities, and now he is Associate Professor of Jewish Thought at the Ziegler Rabbinical School of the University of Judaism, Los Angeles.
