The Real Game Evaluation

The Center for School Counseling Outcome Research conducted an evaluation of The Real Game, a classroom-based career awareness and exploration program for Middle School students (grades 7-8). Sponsored by America's Career Resource Network Association, the purpose of the evaluation was to determine the effect of participating in The Real Game lessons on a variety of psychological measures (e.g., problem solving, self-efficacy, school engagement, decision-making), academic achievement, and other behavioral indicators.

The Real Game is part of a larger series of resources and curriculum materials to assist students from elementary school through high school and beyond with career exploration and planning. Visit The Real Game website to learn more about what is available.
