Carbaugh Book Wins National Award
Congratulations go to Donal Carbaugh (communication) whose book, Cultures in Conversation, has received the Outstanding Book of the Year Award from the International and Intercultural Communication Division of the National Communication Association.
The reviewers on the Outstanding Scholarship Award Committee unanimously praised its contribution to the field of intercultural communication, insightful analysis, and its solid base in original research and were unanimous in their choice. The award will be presented during the NCA Annual Convention in San Antonio in November.
The National Communication Association is the oldest and largest scholarly society for the study of communication. It is a member of the American Council of Learned Societies and is the principal institutional agent in the communication discipline for disciplinary coordination with the National Science Foundation and the National Research Council.
