Ash Awarded Fulbright Fellowship to Hungary
Associate Professor Michael Ash (economics and Center for Public Policy and Administration) has been awarded a Fulbright Fellowship for spring 2007. He will travel to Budapest to research environmental justice in Hungary and will teach economics and policy methods at Corvinus University. Ash also will have an affiliation with the Center for Environmental Policy and Law at the English-language, U.S.-accredited Central European University.
The Fulbright Program is sponsored by the Department of State and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. Each year, the program sends 800 U.S. faculty and professionals abroad. Grantees lecture and conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields.
