3/22/06 - 3/25/06 - The University of Massachusetts Wind Ensemble conducted a Spring tour that consisted of performances and master classes at public schools in Massachusetts and New Jersey, as well as a performance at the CBDNA Eastern Division Convention.

1/24/2006 - The University of Massachusetts Saxophone Quartet and Mr. Klock travel to Maryland to participate in a series of performances, masterclasses, and clinics. The trip was planned and put together by UMASS Saxophone Studio alumnus, Eric Posner, the instrumental music teacher at Bellows Spring Elementary School.

The saxophone quartet is scheduled to perform Sunday, February 12 at 8pm in Bezanson Hall.



Funding for the event was provided by the Bellows Spring PTA, Music & Arts Centers, Stu's Music, The Baltimore Brass Co.

A big special thanks to those who helped make this event happen: Eric Posner, Jackie Klamerus, Ron K. Morris, Laurie Lerman, Mike Prout, Charlie Phillips, Dennis Mercer, Dave Lunt (LRHS), Joe Fischer (RHHS), Andy Spang (FQMS), Monica DeLeon (MWES), the RHHS Band Boosters, the FQMS PTA, Rob White-Instructional Facilitator of Music (HCPSS), Rebecca Braukus-Muisc Resource Teacher (HCPSS), The RHHS Saxophones/Parents, and the BSES Saxophones/Parents.

12/11/2005 - Members of the University of Massachusetts Saxophone Studio partipate in the annual saxophone caroling. The studio played holiday carols at Applewood Retirement Home and Atkins Farm. Caroling was preceded by the annual Christmas party at Mr. and Mrs. Klock's house for the saxophone and horn studios at UMASS.

10/25/2005 - The Zagreb Saxophone Quartet at the University of Massachusetts Amherst on October 25, 2005.

The University of Massachusetts Amherst Saxophone Studio was very pleased and excited to welcome the Zagreb Saxophone Quartet from Zagreb, Croatia. Their visit included several masterclasses and coachings for the various saxophone quartets, as well as a performance later in Bezanson Hall that was met with high compliments and received two encores. The students were very excited to have the quartet at the university. On behalf of the saxophone studio, thank you all for a wonderful day and evening. 10/14/05 - The 31st Annual Multiband Pops Benefit for Hurricane Victims concert features one of the saxophone quartets among the many performing ensembles.

9/25/05 - Mr. Klock performs a recital of baritone saxophone music in Bezanson Hall. The recital featured works by Hartley, McMichael, Noble, and Macchia. Three of the four pieces were world premiers.
