The 37th Annual New England Saxophone Festival & Competition features top-flight classical and jazz guest artists, Connie Frigo and Claire Daly, as well as UMass professors, Jonathan Hulting-Cohen and Felipe Salles in concert and clinic. Designed to give lay and professional audiences insight into the inner workings of saxophone performance, the Festival is presented in friendly fashion to one and all. Highlights include:

  • 5th Annual Gerry's Music Shop High School Saxophone Competition, featuring some of the Northeast’s brightest saxophone stars.
  • College Showcase, featuring high level performers from New England's fantastic saxophone programs.
  • New England Saxophone Festival Ensemble, directed by Jonathan Hulting-Cohen, is open to amateur, high school, and collegiate saxophonists of all ages and abilities.
  • Clinics by Connie Frigo and Claire Daly
  • Hulting-Cohen-Salles joint master class on saxophone fundamentals
