.::ABOUT Mr. Klock conceived the New England Saxophone Symposium at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1982, and thanks to support from Charles Bestor (Chair of the Department of Music and Dance) and Skip Hammond (Former owner of Gribbon's Music) the symposium was launched in the spring of 1983. The result of the symposium's first year success is that it became an annual event, and this May Mr. Klock will host the 26th Annual Symposium.
