Assistance

Winter and Summer Assistance
Winter/summer financial assistance is available to student-athletes pending approval of the Associate Athletic Director for Student Services. It is not automatically granted. The NCAA allows student-athletes to receive the same percentage of financial assistance in the winter/summer sessions as they did during the preceding regular academic year/term. You must apply for Winter/Summer assistance before the end of the fall term for winter or the spring term for summer. The application requires you to list the classes you would like to take and provide an explanation for why you need those particular credits. Applications are available in the Student Services office in 234 Boyden or the Academic Enhancement Office in the Mullins Center.

Exhausted Eligibility Aid
Student-athletes receiving athletic grant-in-assistance, who have exhausted their eligibility in four years and need additional coursework to graduate may apply for fifth-year assistance as authorized by the NCAA. Assistance is not automatically renewed. Students must contact the Associate Athletic Director for Student Services during the final term of assistance to be considered for the fifth-year program.
