Dear Member,
As treasurer I would like to keep you abreast of certain issues. First, the car project is moving
swiftly ahead. Jamie is going to have a look at the car during spring break. He is also going to petition the
Mechanical Engineering department se that we can get the backing of that department. Secondly, we are
looking into having the official club T-shirts printed after spring break. Any suggestions as to
design, please contact Sam Rolfe at 546-1115.
Thirdly, dues should be paid by April 15, 1996. With this you will receive a T-shirt, this awesome
newsletter and a chance to hang out with and be one of the collest kids on campus. Fourthly, if you would
be interested in going to Lime Rock to see the IMSA GTP cars and TRANS AM cars race the weekend of
May 27th, give me a call at 546-2215. This is going to be a three day trip and all are welcome. Fast cars,
babes (male and female), and all the soda (wink wink) you can drink. Lime Rock is a beautiful track
located in southern Connecticut, please attend. Lastly, I am an avid fan of Indycar racing and Formula 1,
if you are curious or enjoy the same, here is a partial listing of upcoming events:

Congratulations to Jimmy Vasser for his first career win in Indycar March 3rd in the first race of the
